Kid's Blitz is baaaaaack! Starting Friday night, September 10th from 6:30-8:15pm, Kid's Blitz is back for a whole new year!! ALL kids in grades K-5 are welcome to come to our super fun kid's program! We meet every Friday night during the school year (with the exception of long weekends and school vacations). The children learn a Bible story or Bible point each night through drama and song (that THEY participate in!) and then that point is reinforced through our awesome stations like; games, snack, craft and our "surprise station"! Family nights and special kid nights are included throughout the year. ALL kids are welcome; whether their families attend Union Church or not! Attention all Jr. High kids! W.I.R.E.D (Walking in Righteousness Every Day), our group for our Jr. High-aged kids (grades 6-8) begins Friday night, September 10th at Union Church from 6:30-8:15pm! Sr. High Youth Group is coming!! Sr. High Youth Group is for kids in grades 9-12 and will kick-off our new year beginning Sunday night, Sept 12th from 6:30-8:30pm! We look at how the Bible and God translate into our everyday lives. Included in our meeting times are games, snack and more! Special outings/social events and trips are also part of our group. Attention ALL Ladies! Beginning in mid-September, all women are invited to attend our new Beth Moore study, "Jesus, the One and Only". "Come along with Beth Moore on a life-changing journey which will lead you through the hills of Galilee with the Teacher, across the lake with the Master, and finally, on the road toward the cross with the Savior. Get to know Jesus intimately... as though you had walked with Him during His days of earthly ministry" (quote taken from Lifeway.com's description of the study). This study is for ANY woman, regardless as to where she may be in her spiritual walk! This study will meet Wednesday mornings at the church (child care available) at 9:30am, beginning September 15th. Our second worship service features praise anthems (coustic guitar, piano, voices), time of prayer, scripture reading and reflection, morning message, and hymns (piano). Nursery is available.

We are planning to hold a Benefit Concert on Saturday, October 16th, 7pm at the church. Admission will be free, but we will take a freewill offering at the end, with 100% of the proceeds going to our missionaries. The music will be performed by members of the worship team and special guests. The music will NOT be worship music, but contemporary Christian music, with some classics mixed in. Some of it will be missions themed. We will also take a few minutes to introduce the missionaries we support. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow.
